It is now possible for merchants
to safely and securely process credit card transaction
sin a real time format using their wireless Palm Tungsten
W, Palm i705 or Palm VIIx Handheld Device (PDA). This
service is available in many cities across the U.S. and
Hawaii. Once you secure your business a palm device, AmeriPayment
provides you with the required special software application
for your Palm unit. We will also include the magnetic
stripe reader that you will plug directly into your Palm
unit. This setup turns your wireless Palm into a wireless
credit card processing device! No need for an expensive
credit card terminal if this is all you want. When processing
transactions, you simply swipe the card or manually key
in the credit card numbers into the device.
Then, in a few seconds the transaction is authorized and
your sale is complete. The customer then 'signs' their
name right on the Palm screen using the stylus, and their
signature is electronically captured and stored for your
future record and reference. It just couldn’t get
easier. Then, if you decide that you would like to provide
receipts to customers you can either use a simple Imprinter
and slips, or your Palm can 'beam' the transaction via
the Infra Red port to a portable, battery operated IR
printer. The latter option will use the printer to electronically
print the receipt will print along with a copy of the
captured signature! In this package you also receive an
Internet gateway that gives you the ability to monitor
all transactions processed with your Palm via a secure
internet website.
As always your date will be uploaded and stored in a real
time format. This means our merchants can access their
transaction history from anywhere in the world. The benefits
of having a permanent record of all your transactions
