How long does it take to setup an account?
All applications require a signature, and some additional
documentation pertaining to your business, the business
owner, and the activities of the business. Clients may
submit the required documents including all necessary

will swiftly program your credit card terminal over the
phone once it arrives at your location and your merchant
account approval is given by our new accounts department.
In order to receive your terminal overnight you will need
to select the overnight shipping option, and pay the necessary
delivery expenses. |

Your application may also be mailed in to our offices
using priority mail, instead of fax, if that makes you
feel more secure. It will take 2-3 days for the documentation

terminal ahead of time and receive it in just a few days.

2.
How do I get paid from the sales generated through my
merchant account?
Credit card sales are deposited directly into your checking
account. Any fees associated with your processing account
are automatically removed before deposit into your bank
account. |

3.
How long does it take for the funds to be transferred
to my account?
24-48 hours from the time the transaction clears to the
time it arrives in your account is our deposit timeline.
This time is standard for all processors in the industry. |

4.
Do I need a business checking account?
If your business is incorporated or is an LLC, then yes
you do need a business checking account. However, if your
business is a sole proprietorship or partnership, the
only requirement is that the individual or partners' name(s)
must be on the check. |

What if I have questionable credit?

has several plans which are catered directly to individuals
with poor or non-existent credit. We will work with you
to make sure your account gets approved for credit card
processing through your very own merchant account. Even
if we cannot get you approved, there is no application
fee, so you have nothing to lose. We do suggest that customers
are honest on their application, so we can configure the
best solution for your individual needs. This will save
time in the end, because any misleading or inaccurate
details on the application will be uncovered during our
application review process. Having a merchant account
is serious business. It is no less important or serious
than applying for a car loan or even a home loan. There
are serious ramifications for anyone found guilty of abusing
their account or providing fraudulent information. |

When the credit card terminal or PC Software dials out
for approval, am I charged any long distance or communication
fees?
You are not charged any communication fees because it

Do I need a dedicated phone line?
You will not need extra phone jacks because terminals
have dual phone jacks. This gives you the ability to connect
the terminal and other peripheral equipment; modems, phone,

Who installs the terminal?

does not utilize outside sales personnel because we try

Do I receive training?

12.
How do I sign up for American Express and Discover Card? |

American
Express ($49 activation fee)
We will send you an application form for American Express
unless otherwise requested. American Express requires
separate approval from visa and mastercard. Once approved,
AmeriPayment Credit Card Processing Merchant Account Services
will internally activate your account. All that is required
from the client is that you sign the forms and the process
is basically completed. The actual processing fees and
rates will vary depending on business type and average
sale amount. |

following is the rate range you can expect. (Rates and
fees for American Express are subject to change). Retail
- Average sale $150 or less = 3.25%
Average sale $150-249 = 3.10%
Average sale $250+ = 2.95%
Internet/Mail/Telephone order - $0- $4,999 total annual
volume = $5.00 per month, flat fee.
$5,000 or higher annually volume = 3.5%

Discover
Card
AmeriPayment Credit Card Processing Merchant Account Services
will forward you request directly to Discover because
they have a unique and specific approval process. A Discover
representative will contact you and discuss their program.
Once a merchant number has been issued by Discover, we
will add it to your account with AmeriPayment Credit Card
Processing Merchant Account Services so that one merchant
account processes all your credit card sales. |
