| In AIM,
a customer's web browser makes a secure connection to your server
and transmits all of the information necessary to process a
transaction. Your server connects securely to the Authorize.Net
gateway, and transmits all of the transaction information to
the gateway for processing. The gateway returns the results
of the transaction processing to your server. Your server can
determine from the results of the transaction how to proceed
with the customer, and then returns a response to the customer
accordingly. You can retain full control of the data that's
used in the processing of the transaction, and keep the customer
on your own web site during the whole transaction process if
so desired. AIM transactions are the most secure because they
are submitted over secure connections from all sides. |
